, an established scrap tire recycling center, is seeking to hire a Receptionist to operate our front desk and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
We have been in the scrap tire business since 1994 and have grown to be the largest scrap tire transporter and processor in Louisiana.
Our goal is to provide customers with top-notch service for all of their scrap tire needs.
As the Receptionist for our location in Scott, LA you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and callers to our establishment.
To be successful in this position, you should have an agreeable personality, as this is also a customer service role.
You should be able to deal with urgent matters in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations.
Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.
The right candidate for this role is organized, behaves professionally, is experienced with Excel, and can provide polite customer service.
General Job Duties:
Greeting guests to the worksite Filing manifests and mailing them out at the end of the month Performing Data Entry Handling all incoming and outgoing paperwork Answering phone lines Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing Required Skills:
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role Must be able to operate and create Excel files Knowledge with 10-key Professional attitude and appearance Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks High school degree or equivalent; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
