6K a year 17 hours ago 17 hours ago 17 hours ago The Receptionist is responsible for answering and distributing accordingly all incoming phone calls, performing daily office responsibilities, and serving visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
Job Activities Welcomes visitors by warmly greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor safety booklets Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation Maintains accurate and adequate inventory of supplies and consumables Requires general purchasing duties including purchase order creation within ERP system Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Executes broad communications to entire staff on an as needed basis Organizes and manages office events such as customer tours, company meetings, and staff celebrations Signs for packages/mail daily, maintain postage inventory, maintain stamped envelopes for distribution, assist with mailings (i.
e.
folding, stuffing, etc.
) Other duties as assigned by manager Requirements 1-2 years within a business environment; telephone etiquette Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Professionalism and dependability multi tasking abilities Ability to multi-task Excellent telephone, verbal communication, listening, and organizational skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
